Troop 11 delivers much needed food during the Pandemic
Andrew headed up a Life project to make sandwiches for the New Covenant Center in Stamford. The COVID-19 pandemic has left many people hungry while food donations from restaurants and stores has decreased.
This was a perfect opportunity for our Scouts.
Each scout made 10+ sandwiches, packaged them and delivered them to Andrew. He then made a trip to the NCC to deliver the sandwiches blus other food our familes donated.
A total of 320+ sandwiches were donated to be distributed by the New Covanant Center. We are proud of everyone in our troop.
